OK.
1. Mar should be somewhere in the hive in a rectangular sort of structure (you don't have to load to go into it). It should appear on the map. Sorry I can't be more detailed.
P.S. Don't kill him, he gives you a weapon and lots of copper.
2. Wish I could help you here. All I did was ask for the pillow, and they gave it to me. I didn't have to fix any problems.
