Interesting often overlooked Sub Quest for solo players *semi spoiler only*

I just stumbled on an interesting sub quest the other day while solo playing PS:T. It is when you come to the lower ward. Now leave all your followers for a while and go solo. Go north of the market where there is a fellow, who wants to lure into a dark alley and have you killed.
Follow him without questions AND LET HIM AND HIS MEN KILL YOU. Now they think you are dead, but of course you have already awoken anew and over hear their conversation.
After this go and talk to the woman on the west side of the market building, whom Dak'kon will get in to battle with unless you prevent it. Tell her about what you over heard. You now have the respect of all of her kind the rest of the game.

(I have on purpose made this description a little murky in order not to spoil too much)
